Official Contest Rules and Regulations
“Predict Canada's Match Score” Contest
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
1. Sponsor
The “Predict Canada's Match Score” Contest is organized and sponsored by Hart Stores.
2. Eligibility
The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Hart Stores, its affiliates, advertising agencies, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
3. Contest Period
The contest begins when the official contest post is published on Hart Stores' social media channels and ends at the final whistle of the featured match.
Any entries submitted after the match has ended will be automatically disqualified.
4. How to Enter
To enter:
- Visit the official contest post on Hart Stores' Facebook page.
- Post your prediction of the final score of the featured match in the comments section.
Limit one (1) entry per person.
Edited comments may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Hart Stores.
5. Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries.
Participants who correctly predict the exact final score will qualify for the draw.
If no participant correctly predicts the exact score, Hart Stores reserves the right not to award the prize or to select a winner using criteria determined by the organizer.
6. Prize
The winner will receive:
• One (1) World Cup-style soccer ball (ball By Hartstores);
• One (1) promotional code for 25% off a future purchase of $25 or more before taxes.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
7. Prize Claim and Redemption
The winner will be contacted via Facebook Messenger or through a comment on the contest post.
The soccer ball must be picked up at the Hart Stores location closest to the winner's residence.
The promotional code may be redeemed online or at participating Hart Stores locations.
The winner must claim the prize within thirty (30) days of notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.
8. Publicity Release
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Hart Stores may use their first name, city of residence, and contest participation for promotional purposes, without additional compensation, where permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
Hart Stores assumes no responsibility for:
• Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries;
• Technical issues related to social media platforms;
• Any human or technical errors that may affect the administration of the contest.
10. Facebook Disclaimer
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
Participants are providing their information to Hart Stores and not to Facebook.
11. Modification or Cancellation
Hart Stores reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this contest at any time if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make such action necessary.
12. Acceptance of Rules
By entering the contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations.
