OUR HISTORY :

The first Hart store was founded in 1960 by Mr. Harry Hart in the community of Rosemere. From its humble beginnings, Hart has served often rural communities, while expanding across Canada.

In 2015, HART was sold and the new owners have grown the company to more than 85 Hart stores, as well as 45 home products stores under four banners:

MAISON EN GROS, HART MAISON, MÉGA MEUBLE and HART HOME.

An expansion plan is currently underway with additional stores to be added in the near future.

With locations throughout Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, the stores range in size from 15,000 to 55,000 square feet. They offer an impressive variety of fashion apparel and essentials, as well as a wide selection of home furnishings, housewares, giftware, toys, bedding, electronics and furniture.

In 2017, Hart is making a digital shift allowing customers to store online. The website is easy to use and offers the ability to learn about products through extensive descriptions. Also, the company now offers home delivery and in-store pickup.

Hart operates as a family business just as it began many years ago. Each employee is an integral part of this growing family.
